Healthy Lifestyle Change VS. Dieting

I admit, I am a bit late to attempt to get the perfect Summer body rn. However, it is never too late to make a change that will help you to become a healthier person. I want to see my results in the long term, not just for the next 2 weeks. Therefore, rather than putting myself on a strict diet for now and quitting in a few weeks just to gain back anything I have lost, I have decided to make a change – a lifestyle change.

This change involves eating healthier but not eating less than what my body needs – think of food as fuel for your body – this is especially important for those amping up their exercise. I have been eating healthy and working out for the last 3 weeks. I have started to take whey protein in order to keep up may energy levels and to help my muscle recovery and I have to admit, I didn’t think it would work but I know I couldn’t do it without it! Plus, the protein powder I take is chocolate brownie flavoured so I basically feel like I am drinking a chocolate milkshake every day and I have lost 3 pounds in the process!

I just wish I decided to make this decision earlier so I could see more benefits now but this is something that will benefit me for the rest of my life so I can afford to wait a little longer!
